Shipping and Return Policy

Standard Shipping Policy:
Our shipping policy is very simple. We want everything to arrive to you better than you expect. In order to do this we are meticulous about the quality of pottery we stock and how we pack every single order. Orders generally take a full week to ship although many times we manage much sooner however please take this into consideration when ordering especially if it's a busy time of year such as the Holiday Season. 

We offer low flat rate shipping starting at 6.95 depending on the zone you are in (according to USPS and my location, see the map below to determine your zone). We may use a variety of shipping methods. However, we primarily utilize USPS and UPS. Fedex is not an option for us at this time. 

Some customers like to place multiple orders. If we combine them into a box that is 12" x 12" x 12" or smaller, we will refund the shipping from the extra order (if we catch it, sometimes we don't if there are a lot of orders stacked up). If combining your orders causes us to have to ship in multiple boxes or an oversize box (larger than 12" x 12" x 12") then we will not refund the shipping on the additional orders as oversized boxes causes shipping rates to double. Additionally, if you placed more than one order and used a pottery points certificate (which is only meant to offer you free shipping) and we subsequently combine those orders we will not refund anything because there was no shipping paid, the pottery points covered it. While we want to try to save you on shipping, this is a real cost for us and it should not be assumed that your orders can or will be combined.

  • 12.95 for orders between 22.01 and 39.00
  • 14.95 for orders 39.01 and up

  • 12.95 for orders 39.01 and up

  • 6.95 for orders up to 22.00

  • 6.95 Shipping charge for orders up to 15.00
  • 9.95 Shipping charge for orders between 15.01 and 34.99
  • 14.95 Shipping charge for orders between 35.00 and 75.00
  • 19.95 Shipping charge for any order between 75.01 and 110.00
  • 24.95 Shipping charge for any order between 110.01 and 150.00
  • 29.95 Shipping charge for any order between 150.01 and 250.00
  • 34.95 Shipping charge for any order 250.01 and up
                                
Regarding Returns:
Should you decide that you need to return an item it is imperative that you contact us immediately before you ship anything back. We expect you to let us know within 2 days of delivery of your package if you need to initiate a return. Make sure to pack it well and insure it against any possible damage. If the item/s being returned are damaged or broken upon arrival, you will have to file a claim with the carrier as we will not refund broken or damaged pieces due to mailing from your end. All stickers must be on them. We cannot accept back pieces that have been used. Please keep this in mind. We do not pay for return shipping unless we made an obvious error (such as the wrong piece was sent). If you do not like the way something is painted, that is not considered an error on our part. All sale items are final sale, those are not eligible for return. 

If you return an item and you either did not pay for shipping as part of your original order or you did not pay for full shipping (as in Washington state where shipping is discounted), or if you return it to sender, the actual shipping costs we incurred will be deducted from your refund as well as the cost for boxes and packing material and a 25% restocking fee. For example if you return an order where you paid a flat 14.95 for shipping but our actual cost was 27.00 then we will charge you the full shipping cost when the item is returned and your refund will reflect this. Purchasing products from our company is an acknowledgement of this policy. We do not charge you a re-stocking fee. We also do not pay for return shipping. Should the item arrived damaged you will need to file an insurance claim to recoup your money since you are the shipper at that point. 


We have items on our site that are marked FINAL SALE. This means refunds are not allowed. If however a situation occurs and we allow this (at our discretion) a store credit will be issued only.  In addition, we do not cancel orders. If however a situation occurs and we allow this (at our discretion) a store credit will be issued only. 

If you need to return a piece that was part of a sale involving another piece, for example on a buy one get one free sale, you must return both pieces in order for your return to be accepted. 


Because artists are giving liberty to interpret patterns, we do not accept returns because you don't like how the pattern was arranged. It may vary from the picture shown on our website in some ways. 

At this time, we only ship within the United States.

In the rare event that a piece arrives broken please do the following:
  • Contact us immediately, within 2 days of delivery
  • We require a variety of pictures in order to file a claim through insurance. Refusal to provide these pictures (including if we need them re-taken to show a better angle etc) then we will be unable to file a claim and a refund/credit/replacement will not be issued until the necessary photos are provided.  
  • Keep all packing material until the claim has been processed by the shipping agent.
  • Do NOT discard any boxes, packing material or broken pieces until you are told to do so by us as we may have you ship them back. 
  • In the event of breakage during a final sale event, credit only will be issued once the insurance claim has paid out.
